yup - it's still that price technically, but with the 10% discount I thought it was worth posting again.

I use the cheaper version I bought via SD deal a while back and it works great with Steam and Crimson Desert. This model looks like a higher quality, build than my 8bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless. A smooth experience playing PC games on TV via that brand's controller.

I'm sad I missed out on the 20% off code for the $35 price tag. I hope I can hold on until that sale comes around again

Even though I already own one of these, I think it's time to pull the trigger, lol... And another one 😂

How is it? Looks tempting but I've used the SNES version ones and found the buttons mediocre compared to official ones.

I've been eyeing this controller for a while. Currently, I own a wired Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition for my PC. Would this be a big improvement?

It's been an awesome using it from my experience, so much so that I purchased both the black and white colorway. Those were lil boy controllers you were dealing with from before, lol, but all jokes aside, 8Bitdo kept quality of life features in mind for this iteration. Starting off, they included an L4/R4 button which is at the top near both the L1 & L2/R1 & R2 buttons which is programmable. Speaking of which, they carried the programmable backpaddle buttons from the first Ultimate Controller over to this iteration. Instead of Hall Effects joysticks, this one includes TMR sticks. Lastly, both sticks have RGB rings around them if that's your thing. I actively test out these controllers on this video I uploaded to my YouTube channel:

I bought one of these on the last sale and am enjoying it on the Switch 2. Something not mentioned everywhere is that with a firmware update (requires hooking up to PC and downloading their software, Ultimate Software 2), is that you can activate the Shake-to-Wake feature that is typically only on first party Switch controllers. Follow online guides to get the steps down. It did take me about 30 minutes to set it all up, but it's a great thing to have the Ultimate v1 did not.
