I don't trust Baseus, i've had 3 power banks be recalled from them.

Cords are not power banks, so less to go wrong with these and not likely to be recalled. That said, these have a much better display and orientation of the display than any other power display cords out there IMO.

I got this cable and works great for smartphones and tablets, but does not work for laptop charging (at least on two I have tried). I have another generic USB-C with LED display that works fine.

It doesn't go up to 100w then? That's usually when I would want to see the actually charging speed anyways

These are actually decent quality, I am using one to power my laptop right now and the LED wattage indicator is also accurate.

Is this an endorsement "less to go wrong with these and not likely to be recalled"? I agree with the person who said that Baseus is a "junk brand". I have purchased five (maybe one or two more) Baseus products, but none recently. Two still work completely, two partially, and one was in the trash a few years ago.

Hardly an endorsement. They are no more or less junk than Anker and others. Of my half dozen Baseus products I own, all of them still work like they did when new, though I don't own any of their power banks. In fact I've had more Iniu products fail than Baseus, granted I have more of their products. Unless you've owned THIS product here, basing it off other products, especially power banks (which most of the big names have had recalls and issues) is probably the worst item to judge a brand over. If it's held up for at least a few years, you've gotten your money's worth out of it.

I bought one from the last deal and been using it to charge my iPhone 15 Pro Max along with the new Anker Nano adapter.
So far the cable works great and seems built to last (more than the Apple brand cables we all love)
