If you consider the pruning chainsaw is $119, then the blower/trimmer kit is $200, which I would argue is a solid buy. In 2022, I got this kit (without the chainsaw) for $200 from a deal in Ace. After two years, I upgraded to the 60V MAX blower/trimmer kit and so sold it off. I was able to get all of my money back. Technology hasn't changed too much in that time so I still feel this is a safe bet.

Decent products and a decent price. The blower is fine for normal use, blowing off the tractor, some small driveway cleanup or drying your vehicles (with a stubby tube) but it won't do well blowing an entire yard of damp leaves.

The Dcst925 string trimmer in this deal is not brushless if that matters to you.

I'm starting to collect some 60v stuff. Can I ask what made you want to upgrade the trimmer?

Sure. I guess first and foremost I got an insanely slick deal on the 60V. It was $200 for the blower, string trimmer and a 9Ah battery on clearance at Home Depot. I don't have a regular use for the trimmer, it's more on-demand stuff. However, I will say that the 60V trimmer cuts through the tough stuff way faster than the 20V one. If I clear an overgrown area, it's does it in literally half the time. On the other hand if you're just doing an easy trim, the difference is way less noticeable. The version of the 60V I have is attachment compatible and so I go the pole saw attachment. In the end it probably didn't cost much less than a dedicated pole saw, but it does have a lot of power and it makes storage easy. For an occasion-use scenario, I find the attachments pretty handy.

In summary, I would say if your primary use is clearing big brush then the 60V trimmer is absolutely worth the upgrade. If you're only doing light use, and especially if you don't already have FLEXVOLT batteries, I would say the 20V trimmer works just fine.

All three of these are great tools. If you need them all it is a good price

I've used the 20v trimmer before and it's a bit weak. It's probably fine though if you have a small yard.

I don't know much about the 20v blower, but the 60v flexvolt blower is a beast.

This seems to be a good deal. If I'm not mistaken, Home Depot is selling the same bundle without the chainsaw for $289. So essentially you're getting the chainsaw for $30.

Had the trimmer and blower. They work fine, relatively lightweight, but a little underpowered. Especially the blower. Ended up going to 60V greenworks and it's a night and day difference.
