I have a 9900x3d and he really isn't wrong, if you play at 1440p or 4k, hardly noticeable different in fps from a 7800x3d or 14900k

From my recollection, this is $5 lower than the previous price which isn't enough to move the needle...

Gotta agree. My 9700x with a minor undervolt scores higher than all the x3d's in multiple benchmarks minus the 9000 series variations. To each their own but to me the extra money is not worth the handful of frames difference.
