It cleans well enough, about as well as any other interior product I've used. There is certainly some type of protection that leaves a light layer of wax or something that needs to be wiped off after it dries. I've noticed the "protection" most on the glossy black surfaces of my cars. I put it on one shortly after I bought the car, and the blacks are still relatively scratch-free. I usually reapply every 6 months or so.
There is a pleasant sweet smell, better than the chemical smell I get from a standard armorall (although that has some nostalgia).
Great price! I plan to buy another bottle at this price, just for backstock.
