I can't speak for this model, but I saw an LG gram device in a store once and the build quality was suspect at best
You might want to spend some time actually using one before forming that opinion. I've owned it for a couple of years now, and it's been an incredibly light, reliable laptop through frequent travel and everyday use. In my experience, it's hard to find anything in the 15–17" range that matches its combination of portability and durability.
