The catch is that they're not even close to 6,000 lumens. Closer to 1,200 lumens. Reviewers do comparisons. One reviewer named "Couches" compares the beam from this flashlight to his 1,200 lumen Husky. Besides the spotty, inconsistent beam of the WdtPro, they are nearly identical... especially in terms of brightness.

These types are definitely worth it at $5 each, especially if the batteries are included. But I wouldn't pay much more.
