I can attest to the quality of this product. I'm a person that grinds fresh beans that are kept in an airtight container. I have used this item for cold brewed coffee as well as drip brew. And for the price, this is an excellent deal.

is 'Crema e Aroma' an added flavoring or is it just a marketing name representing functionally nothing? I cant figure out how they would infuse the whole beans with 'crema' and 'aroma'...

this is one of their worst varieties and a pretty bad price. good lavazza prices are $10 for the lower end blends, $12-14 for the better blends like gran crema (my fav) or super crema (others like that one, but a little too smooth for me).

Theres no added flavoring. It's to differentiate their different styles; some are more geared towards espressos while otheres drip/pour overs. Ive tried 7+ of their varieties using my drip moccamaster and like them all including espresso variants.

To me this consistently ranks near the top. I do notice a stronger aroma/taste, but find the crema typical on my drip brew. Although it can go cheaper, it doesn't go on sale nearly as often as the espresso black bags. If you're interested in trying this brand it's a good entry point.

The deal history on this looks pretty consistent around this price point which is prob why some people have gotten this deal already. Good deal nonetheless on a good amount of coffee (I can't speak to the quality). Will make a good iced or cold brew if a hot cup doesn't cut the chut.
