As you can see, built-in function-key combos have basic control over lighting. Any further customization with lights and macros would require their (Windows only) software.

Clicky = usually loud.
Switches being described as Milky, Creamy, Smoothie, or Fruity are usually soft, but they can had thuds at the end.
Clicky should sound like a light click all the way to a 1970's typewriter.
As to what's the difference between all the linear soft switches, no one really knows unless they spend hundreds of dollars trying them all. Note that this switch is really sensitive at 1mm pre-travel; most switches are going to be 2mm. This makes it really sensitive to accidental key presses - it's better for extremely high reaction rate gaming as it's faster to key press, not so good for typing due to accidental errors unless you are a perfect typist.
