The clips above the bulbs are useless. The wire will force it to twist and won't stay dangling. Better off using other clips to hang it by the wire. Also it's only 10 bulbs in a span of 25'.

You very much get what you pay for with these. Higher price is a better return on this.

Shatter proof is good, you do not want broken glass outside.

yep and for a 25' span, you end up with a bulb approximately every 2.5 feet. Pretty sparse and dark

Tried these out when replacing older but better quality strings. As others have said, they're priced the way they are for a reason. Went maybe 3 months before some bulb sockets started having weird shortages where lights either fully do not work in the particular sockets, or if they do, the bulbs go through various levels of dimness every other day.

They are also terrible at projecting light toward the ground compared to the better quality string lights. My older strings would fully light the pathways they hung 8 feet above, these low quality ones provide just barely enough light to make the ground visible.

Oh and related to that, the plastic bulb covers combined with the lights in them, make the bulbs unpleasant to look towards. They have a sort of staring into the sun effect that was not present in previous light string brands with thicker/glass bulbs.
