I bought one of these years ago. They make good heat, but can be messy to fill, and you can't turn it off until it runs out 12 hours later.

You can stop the reaction by putting them in a sealed ziploc bag, no oxygen and it stops.
Downside is now you have no idea how much fuel is left in it and you end up overfilling it the next day.
