I dunno, I have this little guy and it is a pretty great knife.

I carry it from time to time and it stays sharp and it is easy to keep sharp.

Yeah I would think the larger Tuff Lite is as small as you'd want to go, also AUS8 steel.

Nice beater I have one for about a year.

Not fancy but nice lock and pretty durable blade. Small but thick blade.

The lock on mine is super hard to close. Overall, not the greatest feel quality wise.

I have this knife and the original only because I like to buy knives. Neither of these is carry-worthy, just stuck in my collection drawer. I can't find a useful purpose for this blade that my leek cant do and do much better. Its just a knife for my collection at this point and will never be on my person. Do better, Cold Steel, get back to your roots from the beginning.

To be honest, you will get more good out of the Schrade Stockman or the Smith and Wesson EDC that went front page. Keep them sharp, and that will be an ordeal, but be more useful than this Cold Steel.

Purchased the 7 dollar cold steel deal recently. Quality is so bad. Handle felt flimsy and the locking mechanism was just ridiculous. Asked to return and they told me to keep with refund.

I have 4 of these, 2 in black, 2 in OD green, just grabbed 2 of these blue. They feel very well-build to me. A bit odd shape and short blade, but it has its place. Here's a recent review on it and check out the comments on there: https://youtu.be/nNxC28pRPM8?si=_xdYpd6IUM0THtjx
