I tried the Gore-tex version of the Vomero 18 and thought they were very nice. I wanted them for walking in the rain and light hiking. If they were cheaper at the time I would have bought them. They have max cushioning without losing support. (Some max cushioning shoes aren't very supportive and let your foot roll off the sides which is no good for me.)
