I've posted about a similar deal previously. YMMV. I got the cash back last time, no harm in trying again.
The deal is this - spend $65 get $50 back "to purchase a new AT&T wireless plan". The catch is it seems that any purchase (for me a bill payment even with $0 balance) triggers the deal.
Could they not give it to me/claw it back? Sure, but I'm on postpaid and I'm paying anyway - worst case is I paid $65 early. Best case is I save $50.
I manually applied a $66 payment and got the offer use email right away.
