Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

Has anybody been able to get the $400 on more than 1 line? When I try to add a 2nd line, it shows $400 off, but it actually only takes $200 off.

36 MONTHS are too long to suffer with spectrum internet. ATT fiber is great in my area , too bad they don't offer any phone deals.
This is a true statement.

I was able to get a trade balance refunded to my card for an iPhone Air back in Feb, but it took a few days after I chatted whereas in the past I'd see the refund instantly pending on my card

Do Spectrum physical stores stock all 3 colors (Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black) for the S26+? (I think last year one of the colors was online only)

I had bad luck in store. Rep accidentally proceeded s26 ultra with Moto g 2025 phone through installment option. I realized it after it processed it. I requested for return. Fine print that he showed me is implying that credit($400) will be spreading across 36 installments.
Any has good luck? Thanks

Based on your image, Is the $400 promotion over 36 months or instant?
We gotta make it a rule to put that detail in the description. It's very misleading to leave it out.

FYI, I freeze my credit so there's no way for them to put mine on installment option.

Anyone know what part of the phone purchase they charge tax for in-store? It would be $91 for me online for the ultra. Seeing if it's worth it to go the store

Is that on the free line, or did you get a plan?

What plan do you have to get on for this thing if you can't get on the free line?
