Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

So to be clear, because I still don't understand fully, if I go in store and choose the pay in full option, I have to pay in full and eventually I can get the full credit refunded back to my card? Or do all the discounts stack in store and reduce the overall cost automatically so that I'm only paying the remaining cost of the phone/tax?

I did, but then I read other posts about credit being put back on a card after paying full price. Just a little confused was all. I appreciate the clarification.

The discount is instant in store for in stock items paid in full with trade in. If they have to order the phone the $400 is instant but the $700 won't post until you mail in the trade in. After it posts into your account you have to ask them to refund it to your card.

Those who are doing TracFone service plan farming, they can buy renewed Samsung A6 with 1500 plan from Amazon. I bought, transfer service to my existing TracFone account, and traded the phone for S26+.

We get $400 instant off when pay full. What happens if I disconnect the line after 6 months? Do I get charge for remaining 30 month pro rate?

I did this in-store. Traded-in an old moto-g for an S26+, In my Spectrum account online it shows Remaining Balance: Full price roughly $1100, and monthly credits of roughly $30.42. Should it show 0 instead?

Is there a way of checking inventory at the stores? I looked up the phone number of the store near me and I ended up talking to someone in another state and she tried to do my order over the phone.
No. Stores are told to say that cant easily check without calling themselves and asking. Go at 10 o'clock or when you're store opens. They have a fresh batch for that days delivery. I just got two. Had to make a 10 am appointment skip the line.good luck.

I wasn't told if that's even an option. Is there a way to change/fix it now?

It is a little better and you do get more for it back when you are finished with it. I got both today the plus for tax. $26 and change. The Ultra was two hundred and something light and it didn't bother me a bit to pay that for it. Very happy.
Better camera, pen, 60w

Just did this promo in store. They only gave $1 for the moto g for some reason but oh well. It was part of my free line and they waived the activation. But taxes and fees were almost $80 in the Carolinas for some reason. Total out of pocket was about 100 including cost of the Moto g. It looks like many people paid less tax but oh well can't really complain about paying 100 for a s26+

Someone said you can call or chat and just pay off your device anytime you want, and then all the credit would be "accelerated".
