Traded 4 times in store over the last month. No account issues yet... what triggers a ban?You sir, are mistaken. $700 is instant credit if you "pay in full".I did a trade for an s26 in the march promo (~$250 total with moto burner) and traded 3x for s26+ in april promo (~$50 total each, incl the moto burners). All on the same free line (no extra lines/activation fees). Go figure ConfusedI've heard of folks activating multiple on a single line and then moving them back on at 60 days to unlock. True?Coincidentally just did one around 8.30p CT, had no idea if the deal end was 9p today or not.
Do you have to be Spectrum home internet user to buy these?

Correct. That's how they get you. Really the best physical trade in values for Samsung phones.

So you paid for it in full or receiving the $700 in service credit?
They take off the 700 dollars immediately if you pay it off in full. So after the trade in value for a s26+, you'll only owe the leftover balance. That's usually tax.

So those of us out of their service area are out of luck? Sounds ridiculous. There must be a workaround

Yeah they tie their mobile services with internet. If you are not in an area with their cable internet, you are basically out of luck.

I ordered online one last S26+ on a new line because I didn't have time to go to the store and Spectrum can end the promotion early. I had already done 2 in store on separate lines. A few minutes after I ordered, Spectrum texted and emailed Action Required By April 25, 2026 asking me to upload ID. I was busy and didn't do it, and 3 hours later Spectrum emailed Mobile Order Details. Later when I had time, I clicked on the Action Required email and it said I had already completed verification. I guess someone at Spectrum cleared me and that's why I got the Mobile Order Details email. I was relieved that it wasn't fraud protection and locking me out of online access.

Does anyone know if i can trade in an s26 from a separate mobile carrier that I'm still receiving bill credits on? Do you think the other carrier would somehow find out and remove my promotional credits?
Last year for the S25, I trade in my T-Mobile Pixel 9 that was on bill credits. I'm still getting promotional credits today.

I just placed an online order and I received an email which required me to provide document to verify my identity. Damn never happened to me online before. Yesterday the system denied my order in-store due to fraud protection.

I just received that email after I placed an order online. I clicked on the link to upload my document, but the page yielded an error. I guess I just wait for a few hour to see the results like you said.

Update: I was able to upload my driver license ID successfully and a few hours later, they charged my credit card and emailed me with title "Mail order details" which included $700 promotions. Looks like it is good to go.

I went to the store and upgraded my line. I am an existing mobile customer and they gave me both $700 and $400 off. The phone will be shipped to me and I chose to pay in full ($779) ...$700 pending trade in.

Is there a chance of them taking $400 back ? I think I saw a post claimg that.

Online or in-store? In store, not many, infact very few people had managed to get a second $700 discount on the same line. You can definitely try your luck. Online, it might show a $700 discount but your email confirmation might not show that discount. I m olso on a same boat as you. My attempt to trade in second time on the same line failed in store. I am still on the fence whether I should go ahead with online instead.
I placed my four orders online and mailed in my old phones. I then placed a second order for one of the lines online to see if it would process correctly, but the email confirmation did not show the $700 discount. I tried to cancel the second order, but customer support told me via chat that they could not cancel it at this point and suggested that I refuse the delivery instead. My concern is whether this second order affecting my original trade-in in any way.

As in my Spectrum app, I initially saw trade-in accepted notifications for all four lines, but now it only shows notifications for three lines - the missing one is the line tied to the second order I placed.

They basically did an online order for you in the store. The same as if you did it yourself on line. If this is your only trade in on that line you should not have a problem after you mail in your trade-in phone and it is accepted by Assurant. The $400 back poster seems to have disappeared without an update or adding important details.

Folks, I think I am in same boat. I opened a new line and it showed $700 + $550 for S26+ trade in but my email confirmation from spectrum and assurant only show $550.
