Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

If you do it in store then all 4 at once (up to 20). I highly doubt that you can find a store with 4 in stock now though.Usually 9PM CST
Not able to do instore, so im gonna to online. So not sure 4 lines on single order or 4 separate orders is good

would i need to send all 4 trade in phones in a single box togther if so or separately

Worked in Texas today for a S26+.
Walked in and added a line for the phone, process was pretty seamless. They only had the Sky Blue color left, and the rep said inventory was going fast since today (4/20) is the last day for the in-store promo. Otherwise, I would have to order online.
For trade-in, I used an old Samsung device. The mirror test failed (didn't realize until after checkout), so the trade-in value dropped from $9 to $1—but the full $700 promo credit still applied, so it didn't think much.
Total paid in store was $53: [Sales tax on $400 - trade in value] + [$20 activation fee]

Has anyone that has been "locked" or "banned" from purchasing more phones in store able to call the "Spectrum Fraud Department" to lift it and be free to purchase more?
Traded 4 times in store over the last month. No account issues yet... what triggers a ban?

Quote from CalmCrowd3371 :
My understanding is $400 is instant, but you get the $700 off over 36 months so if you leave before then you forfeit whatever that discount was
You sir, are mistaken. $700 is instant credit if you "pay in full".

Quote from okhello :
So the new rule for capping at 2 per account in-store trade-ins is true. No wonder I got denied at the last step of submitting order and the system said fraud protection. This is only for in-store traded-in, you shouldn't have the problem if do it online.
Quote from VKD143 :
looks like it is a new rule as per the CS rep. I will try tomorrow again, if this comment works https://slickdeals.net/f/19418556-spectrum-internet-customers-256gb-samsung-galaxy-s26-free-w-eligible-trade-in-new-line-free-s-h?p=183768960#post183768960, then rep is wrong. I do not read such terms anywhere. Just got off the another call with solution specialist and he said try it in 2-3 days. I told the promotion ends tomorrow and he suggested me to try tomorrow then. I believe it may work tomorrow.
I did a trade for an s26 in the march promo (~$250 total with moto burner) and traded 3x for s26+ in april promo (~$50 total each, incl the moto burners). All on the same free line (no extra lines/activation fees). Go figure Confused

Quote from VKD143 :
When you activated the device on new line, that line needs to be active until your phone gets unlocked. Do not mess up. It is good to pay another $60 on the new line for 3 months as spectrum needs 60 days of active service which will technically bill us for the 3 month. Also, if anyone trying to add a new line from now, try checking the $30/m unlimited plan if there is any activation fee. $20 by the gig as per the solution specialist, attracts the one-time activation fee.
I've heard of folks activating multiple on a single line and then moving them back on at 60 days to unlock. True?

Coincidentally just did one around 8.30p CT, had no idea if the deal end was 9p today or not.

The rep told me today was last day for in-store, and tomorrow 4/21 is last day for online. Not sure how accurate that is though

Rep told me tomorrow was last day to do this deal. I told the rep I may try to get the s26+ tomorrow in store. Person didnt correct me that it was online only. I was lazy so I bit the bullet and got 2 ultras instead. Each was 340 over here in CA. I'm not sure if people will be able to do trade ins in the store tomorrow for the full amount.

I traded a Motorola razer, ended up paying $227 including tax paid in full after the trade in and credit.

It's 67 days. It's the offical unlock period for Verizon based phones fyi. Spectrum uses their towers and systems.

I did get hit with the $20 activation fee on the $30 plan in-store a couple of days ago (paid in full Ultra). I just noticed now. Wonder if I asked chat, they might credit it back? Feels a bit ticky tacky at this point though I suppose.

Yes 400+700+$5(trade value). All of it instantly. Also I used my free 1 year mobile line for this deal and $20 activation was waived off as line was free.
Same here, instant money off, no activation fee, year free service $227 including taxes paid in full S26 ultra

So you paid for it in full or receiving the $700 in service credit?

You can have them put it back on the payment on file.
Are you certain the will credit your credit card if you paid in full?
