Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

I placed another order online yesterday for a new line, then got an email today saying my order was canceled due to "credit concerns." My order was doe pay in full, my credit card didn't deny the payment, and my credit score is top tier. What on earth?!
Same. My other order before this one cleared fraud review yesterday and still waiting to be shipped. Was your billing and shipping address the same?

The promo is still live in store today. I tried doing my 9th trade but finally got blocked today. So far, I've done 8 trades in the past month of the promo. A few things I noticed that kept me out of the store trade jail: only do 2 trades at a time, space them out a week apart, and that seems to keep me in the clear for much longer than doing large qty in short amount of time. I also think the trade ban clears after a few weeks (2-3) bc I got banned last year during S25 promo but went back a few weeks later and was able to do a few more in store trades.

Ok, I opened 2 new phone lines and traded 2 phones for the Ultra and S26+ both paid in full, same time as I opened new home internet yesterday. Going back at 12pm and will report back on the $400 new home internet, 2 new phone line account credit.
Fight for it--It's there unless it's regional!! I got it without asking for it and didn't know about it until the sales person/and manager told me.

Looks like it is only for new internet customers and has to be applied in-store only promotion.
It is definitely for NEW internet customers and it was applied in-store however I signed up for internet online and he said it's for new internet people that signed up in the past 30 days.

Same thing for me too! Makes no sense since I chose to pay in full AND I already had one order go through for an S26 ultra which I already activated and have in my hands right now. Silly

I'm being told only if I owe money on phones from other carrier. Any idea what the $400 credit is called? I'm in store trying

I also placed an order yesterday. Got the user agreement email to sign but haven't received anything after that. No confirmation of charges, no charges on my credit card. Hopefully they don't cancel it with some bogus reason.

Maybe go to store and make them ship the phone at home. Might help or might not, worth the try.

I wonder if it's the way they authorize the card first, then charge it again? I ordered one S26+ as an upgrade on my existing line, then decided to order another with a new line. I ordered it on Fri/Sat and it's going to be delivered today. I used my American Express card for both orders, which is also the payment method on file with Spectrum Mobile.

Spectrum is full of a bunch of clowns in a circus and they're all scumbags. Ive been on the phone for hours over the past 3 days after placing a simple order for two phones with my existing internet service that I paid in full for and got all the bullshit about uploading ID and verifying and speaking to fraud department and false promises only for it to be canceled. And I had to reorder again and got the same bullshit and after being promised I receive a shipping confirmation email the next day instead I received the same bullshit order canceled for credit concern. What the fark are they talking about?!!!! I called up so pissed off and and I'm canceling everything now because they're incompetent and ridiculous.

Got 2 phones n store and got charged 97 for each.
The split they said is 40$ plan but they didn't budge and 20 activation and 37 tax.. asked paid in full option.
Can anyone confirm if i did correctly and how can I reduce the 40 to 20 immediately.. @okhello
Also I didn't activate phone in store.. does it void the promotion

I don't know what it's called but it was for people that signed up for internet and added a phone possibly the 26 Ultra---had nothing to do if I owed $$$ however they did tell me that the phone should have been on payment plan so maybe that's what they are talking about. Buy another phone on payment plan and then it should work. Had nothing to do with owing $$$ to another carrier either. I didn't port my # tracfone # lol. can't owe $$$ to tracfone. Maybe the manager misunderstood the credit or your person misunderstands it but I got it on my account and I don't know where to see the full $400 credit on line. I see the monthly credit--
