Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

Same issue for me as well. Were you able to get a resolution?
I chatted with them. They said it still shows on my account that I qualify for the $700 promotion. Did you send in your phone(s) already?

My trade-in shipped April 21 was delivered April 24, and the Spectrum Trade-In site shows "Delivered" with processing underway. However, other phones shipped earlier on April 18 (delivered April 23) still show "Awaiting Shipment". They never even updated to "In Transit."All were dropped off at the same store using a UPS QR code, and I have UPS receipts with tracking for all. This seems really odd. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a processing issue with UPS on April 18, or just an error in status updates (especially since the later shipment updated correctly)? Would it make sense to contact Assurant and provide the UPS tracking numbers to check on the status?
That is normal. Per Assurant, customers must allow them up to 10 business days to process the trade-in device after it is delivered. About that Spectrum Trade-In site, normally it will not update until the Assurant send out the status of the trade-in device. If you would like to communicate with Assurant, you can send them an email at [email protected].

I have 1 phone on free line that the Sales rep activated with a Psim but the others I activated at home--so I assume that would be Esim? If I take 3 of these phones off early and put them onto the free line--what sim would I use? The one that's in the main phone or do I need to get psim for the other 3 to make it easier to put them on the free line. I know I won't have a challenge getting a psim from the sales guy before I cancel the lines--then I'll avoid him--feeling guilty lol
For the other phones when you got, did you pay the activation fees for each additional phones or those were also with $0 activation fees like the free line?

I don't mind waiting. What seems odd is that the device delivered on April 24 already shows a "Delivered" status, while the earlier one delivered on April 23 is still marked as "Awaiting Shipment" It hasn't even updated to "In Transit." Is that normal?

Thank you very much for the email address; it may be the only reliable way to reach them. The phone 877-875-4282 I found didn't work.

I have 2 Motorola edge plus phones and both were incompatible when trying to activate on Spectrum, but I put the Spectrum PSIM card into them and both worked flawlessly; so I didn't know why.
I activated one in store and other in sealed box. Do I need to activate manually by opening it or no need since I paid activation fee on both.. if i try to avoid fee for the next month on one phone, how can I do it.?

Yes, you do need to activate, and the IMEI should be registered to their network; otherwise, it may give you unlock trouble.

I believe you need to activate the phone on the line that you purchased.

I had an interesting conversation with refund department today. It might have been the new change this year.
I learned that they can only refund up to the amount that was spent on the card or issue you a check.

Others have said that you cannot use 2 sims on same phone until it's unlocked. Not sure if it would allow 2 sims from Spectrum on the same phone tho. That would be interesting to know. Anyone??? I'm assuming that it wouldn't be allowed.

My second trade in, online, was just approved today. Did a moto 5g for an ultra in store and a other moto 5g for this + online. I'll keep service in them for 2 months then have them unlocked and service cancelled and then a clean firmware Install. I'll see my S25u I currently use and the s26+ and bank a little money!
