My phone on the suspended line unlocked by chat in a few minutes. Signed in and waited for a person/agent. Started the conversation by saying I wanted to unlock the phone with the phone number and the imei number. Agent said I need to verify you and in about a minute after I gave him my verification code, the phone was was unlocked. Said thank you and ended chat. Will deal with removing the line in the next couple of days. Maybe the night shift is more flexible?
Oh, I might try this lol. My billing cycle ends tomorrow and my phone unlocks on the 20th. Worth a shot. I'll try to just stick to the phone number and imei as well. I do wonder if it will port out....maybe I should try requesting a pin as well.

Nope, I recommend don't delete the line until they are all unlocked. Put the line into suspension stage. I already removed my 3 new lines, but it is ok and I don't see any problems yet. For the denial ones, the reason is not enough 60 days in consecutive active mode and this reason is common. It will be unlocked in the future guarantee.
Yeah, I got the same reason for denial, even though the phones were actually activated more than 60 days ago. When you suspended those new lines, did the monthly bills stop charging you, and were they prorated?

No bill on suspension line. No refund for the days that you don't use.

I didn't call just tried once through chat. I will try again--just not sure if I should try today again. I did get 1 line that was suspended unlocked yesterday. If everything else fails--I'll move these 2 phones over to the free line and unlock that way. If anyone else has a suggestion please let me know. I'm trying to do this without paying another $20 a line.
Don't say the phone number when they don't request. Try again. Just say I want to unlock my phone.

I will keep trying. I have some other ideas too but will try the free unlock first.
I was going to try last night but when I started chat--the chat had all my other info still in the chat box and I didn't want them to go back and look at it. I'll try today with the other phone that needs to be unlocked.
If I am forced to activate--I will do 1 of 2 things---move one phone to the free line and unlock it that way. If they tell me I need to activate it--move it to the free line as they unlock it at the same time. Then repeat for the other one. This might be better then moving sim card and taking a chance of starting over.
OR
Activate right before my statement closes and hopefully they will prorate it so it wouldn't be the whole $20==anyone know about adding a line and it being prorated? I wouldn't mind paying $4 or $5 to just end the hassle but really don't want to pay the full $20 for 2 phones.
If I do the prorated way--then I'd be ready to port it out and not have to call to cancel the line. Any experience on Prorating when adding a phone??

Good trick! What's the easiest way to suspend a line? Anyway to do it online by ourselves, or by chat?

Great News!! Was able to get my other 2 phones unlocked in the same chat. Here is the person that did it so get excited if you see their name Hi, you're connected with Mecca

I remember talking with this person before and was worried it was the one last night but it wasn't. It's possible that this person works evenings---it's 6:20 CST. If you need to get one unlocked and you see this now--have a few of them ready and connected to wifi. This person even offered to send me a pin for transfer--not sure if they knew it was suspended or not. I never give that info out so it depends if they go deep into your account or just go by the IMEI # and that's all I gave them the night before until they asked for the 4 digits of the phone number. Well folks I'm done unlocking! so now to get the numbers off my account but not in a hurry for that. keep posting your results so we all can monitor this

Good for you. Enjoy your phones. I still have 6 more to go and probably will get all at the end of this June.

Try and do 2 at a time. Most of yours should be ready to unlock but I'd have at least 2 ready to go while in chat. This person had no challenge doing the 2nd one.

I will probably keep the lines suspended for a while and see if something comes up for a phone with porting a number in. Will definitely have to remove before the 90 day automatic activation time.

A new Iphone might be nice for grandkids for Christmas.

I'm going to sell 2 or 3 of the S26 and am truly enjoying the S26 compared to my old S9 which most apps won't work on anymore.

I have to assume that Spectrum does some kind of special for the Iphones too??

Curious, where will you sell them? Would sell a s26 and an Ultra if it was fairly easy. Thanks

I sold mine on Facebook. $900 for my S26 ultra and $500 for the S26. Not painless but I meet at my Bank around the corner and eventually sold them both.

Thanks that's what I was noticing. Not sure why people continue to actually pay the high price for those phones when others will do almost the same thing. I was reluctant to pay the price for S26 also but thanks to this thread--it was an awesome deal. Thanks to OP and everyone that contributed to this thread.
