Just unlocked a S26+ & S26 Ultra via chat. Easy peasy. Granted both phones were active on my account for 60 days today. Going to suspend line #2 after I move the phone over to VZW, hopefully it works. Do I need to an an actual phone to the suspended line? In for the next deal since I couldn't get a 3rd phone due to a fraud alert on my account after I set it up and got home internet, 2 new phone line & 2 new phones. Was worth the work to get new phones for 2 of us. Thx again to everyone in this forum for the assistance.

Unlocked two phones yesterday. Both were purchased on the same free line. One of them is currently inactive and wasn't put back on the line. After I provided my account information, order number, and IMEI, they unlocked it.

If they are both unlocked and you don't need/want the 2nd line why not just cancel the line. you should be able to move the unlocked phone to verizon immediately. I have to assume you already have an account at Verizon. The 2nd line at Spectrum might be cheaper if you do the 1 GB month and use a google phone number. You can always port your verizon phone number to Spectrum. We suspended the line so we didn't have to pay an extra 30 days to get the phone unlocked. That was the main reason for suspension.

Thank you. I have 3 total lines on VZW & I got another 6 months of discounts from them so keeping VZW for now. Moved the S26+ over to VZW, was easy. So we anticipate the next deal to be the Samsung Z Fold & Flip in the Fall? Fold phones make me a little weary but might be willing to try if Spectrum offers me a great deal.

I have no idea what's next--did you hear it might be the Z Fold and Flip for fall?? Yeah if your not keeping the line for any reason--I'd just cancel it vs putting suspending. Suspending is only good for 90 days and it automatically reverts back to active line. I need to cancel mine before the 90 day.

Have a question that no one has answered so far. Did anyone who traded in something with a value that was more than the price of the phone receive the credit? The only one to report was the first person who was able to trade in an s26 for an s26ultra and was able to get the credit back to the card. A few people mentioned that they were not able to get the "excess" back to the card but might be able to get it in a check. Any update appreciated. Thank you.

Canceled my suspended line in just a few minutes. No problem. Thanks everyone.
Can we still port in line in suspendrd status and will spectrum charge it later when request to cancel?

Try and do 2 at a time. Most of yours should be ready to unlock but I'd have at least 2 ready to go while in chat. This person had no challenge doing the 2nd one.I will probably keep the lines suspended for a while and see if something comes up for a phone with porting a number in. Will definitely have to remove before the 90 day automatic activation time.A new Iphone might be nice for grandkids for Christmas.I'm going to sell 2 or 3 of the S26 and am truly enjoying the S26 compared to my old S9 which most apps won't work on anymore.I have to assume that Spectrum does some kind of special for the Iphones too??
I unlocked my two lines. And my autopay is on june 23.(service period from may 6 to june 5) Considering either suspension or port out by june 22 or can I suspend now and wait for any port in deals later and will spectrum charge in either of the case in suspend state or port out in suspend state.
Any idea.. I don't want to get charged now with autopay tuned on ? Will it auto adjust?

You can suspend immediately and the new bill will be reflected immediately--no cost for suspended lines. However if your bill is from May 6 to June 5--you will still owe for that service and the service from 6/5 to 7/4. Are you sure that your auto pay is for 5/5 to 6/5?? Mine isn't like that--My auto pay is 7/2 for June 16 - July 15 so it looks like auto pay is prior to service ending. The important thing is to know when you service period ends and you want to either port out or suspend prior to that service date ending. Looks like yours would be prior to 7/5?? You might have adjusted your billing date. I am not sure about porting out a suspended line---might have to just cancel before the 90 days of suspension is up. I haven't decided what to do with my suspended lines but will definitely cancel prior to them activating automatically.

So, I just managed to unlock my S26+ that was on the suspended line. My customer support was taking so long it was giving me anxiety. I just said the IMEI straight out and he did confirmations through other questions which was kind of weird. Asked me to confirm the mobile monthly bill info and the model of the phone. He did ask me about the "number" but I asked him if he was asking for the IMEI and then he was like nevermind, I found it. Talk about stressful. Thanks for the tips everyone. Has anyone actually tried to port over the suspended line though? I noticed there was an A16 5G available for basically free but it mentions promotional credits on it so I'm not sure if it matters if you do in store trade-in or not.

Do you mean port out? You would have to reactivate and possibly pay for the days you missed in your billing cycle. May have to pay for two full months. It wasn't clear. They don't prorate when you cancel for mobile and if you reactivate you still owe for the days you missed in the billing cycle. Can always chat or call and ask.

Glad it worked. Not sure what you are asking. If you want to port out the line to a different carrier I was told you would have to reactivate the line and pay for at least one month of service. Are you talking about reactivating to take advantage of another spectrum deal? Don't know if you move a line within spectrum if it's considered porting.
