I've had 2 sets of these tires and they're awesome.

First of all they have reinforced sidewalls so if you're curb enthusiast it's less of a big deal.
They're also snowflake rated. My wife and I went up a mountain pass on a vacation a touch unprepared and these performed amazing (they meet BC 3 peak highway certification qualifications)

I have had tons of "All Season" tires and I can't find a significant noise difference between these tires and most of the normal All Seasons I've run.

Summer grip is fine for anything non-performance. We've had them on a NA SUV and our old Turbo Forester (reasonably fast until you start jumping into the 50k+ SUVs with more torque) and had no grip issues. They do great in large puddles as well.

TLDR: I will "Stan" these tires until they make them worse.

I've got the at4w version(newer) of these and they are the best tires I've ever had. They are also on sale for 189.
AT4W is a different tire. Still a good tire, other than being louder than the Toyo Open Country's they replaced I've got no problem with the 6 on my truck for about 6k miles now. Just did the first rotation q couple weeks ago. Maybe I'll get the Trails next as I dont need an aggressive AT tire, just something that can handle wet grass. Too bad Michelin stopped making the Defenders in my size. Those things were awesome.

*edit*
NVM they don't make the Trail in load range E. None of them in 17" have the load carrying capacity I need for the front end either.

2 Fyi's i had happen with Walmart tire stuff online when shopping for a different size of this Falken AT tire during the December PayPal 20% split pay thing.

1) Walmart can have the exact same tire, rating and size listed with Walmart as the seller for different prices. So if you want a different size scroll through all the Falken AT tires via the filters with Walmart listed as the seller. Back in December my particular tires were listed for 220ish. A couple days later while scrolling there was another listing for the same tire for around around this price ($142). They were both listed with Walmart as the seller and had identical specs. Idk if maybe one was from Walmart online and the other from the local Walmart store or what but it was nice to basically get a 30% discount because of it.

2) You can probably price match other stores with this. In Nov/Dec I PM'd to discount tire direct because they accepted the PayPal pay in 4 split pay option that qualified for the 20% cashback. So def check if you've got cashback from somewhere else because you may be able to get a better deal.

That said there are def advantages to buying from Walmart. They are everywhere so if you have a problem you are more likely to be within shouting distance of a Walmart than Discount tire etc.

Walmart plus membership gives "free" premium installation which is normally 20ish per tire.
Walmart Plus does not give free installation:
https://www.walmart.com/help/arti...cd05bd2e62
Members enjoy benefits at the Walmart Auto Care Center:
  • Free flat repair
  • Free road hazard warranty when you buy new tires with installation

PMing to them or anywhere else is mainly for convenience purposes or for using a different payment method.

Discount tire lets you use the PayPal pay in 4 thing while Walmart doesn't.

How are you getting the free install? On checkout, set of 4 tires gives me $72 install and I have W+.
Sorry i was misremembering what the Walmart plus benefit was. It was for free road hazard included with installation. So you'd save $10 per tire.

I bought Wildpeaks from Discount Tire for my LJ, based on great reviews.
They were almost completely worn at less than 30K. I've never had any tires wear that fast, on any vehicle. They discounted a set of Goodyear UltraTerrain that have worn much better.
The reason for Discount Tire is superior customer service. Get the replacement certificates.

The AT4W is a different line than the Trails. The trails are not quite as all terrain-y. More of a hybrid Highway/AT tire.

Those are both links to A/T3W which is a different tire than the A/T Trail posted here and they have been discontinued.

The price difference could be due to "old new stock" tires. They probably clearing their new unused tires that have older manufactured dates.
