No. $400 off the top. S26 Ultra is $899 already (not $1299). Get a cheap prepaid phone (I have a Galaxy A03s), they'll give me $5 + $700 promo credit = $705. My total will end up being $194 + tax. Pay in full. There's no way I would give up my S25 Ultra in this case. It's worth more selling on the private market.
I did this a month ago and got an S26 the same way. I'll do the S26 Ultra tomorrow on the same line.
I do in-store, though. Sales tax is applied differently (since your trade-in is evaluated and applied right away) as opposed to doing it online and waiting for the promo credit to hit.

No. Pay the cost of the phone at checkout, send in your trade-in and you'll get the FULL value applied to your account. You can call/chat and have that credit applied as a refund to your credit card.
If you're paying in full, there is nothing involving "3 years" at all. It's paid.

Yes! And it's MUCH better. At least in TX and many other states, you make out a lot better because you only pay sales tax on the amount AFTER your trade-in is applied.
If you do it online, you pay the FULL sales tax of the device and the credit is applied later, no sales tax refunded.
I will literally save something like $95 doing it in-store rather than online.

So, must be a mobile customer for 36 months? What is their cheapest plan?
Answered 50 times NO. 60 days and THAT'S IT and only to get it unlocked. You do NOT want to finance this. If you do that you are trapped. BUY IT OUTRIGHT UP FRONT. Get instand credit and trade credit then BOLT after 60 days

Missing bands that prevent you from receiving proper signal and reception for use on any of the big 3 carriers or their mvno partners like mint mobile when unlocked adter 60 days.
Someone here already documented this issue with prior models like the s24 and s25 if they want to elaborate more or someone else chime in who can confirm this problem.
Can you provide any links? I searched here and on Reddit but did not find any details.

Got $1,100 off with AT&T trading in a broken S23U (as it was for any condition). Love it thus far.

I m not sure who it was, he posted that he placed an order with S26 for S26 coz promo was sticking but email confirmation removed $700 bonus. So, even it shows the promo might still till the end but you may not get it. Definitely, if someone could try in store, we will get a clear picture.
Promotion seem to stick even until the very end for me as well trading in a s26 from spectrum. But I read the same post you mentioned, so I went in store to do trade in . I trade and open a new line with moto stylus, then tried to upgrade the existing s26 to s26 plus and was told there's no $700 promo.

$10 sounds about right. But the Moto is on the trade-in list so the $700 promo will apply.

I am slow and wondering about this deal. How much in total I have to pay "BUY IT OUTRIGHT UP FRONT" (pay in full rather than doing 36 months of credits)?: S26 Ultra $1299 + Taxes. Then I can request refund/credit of ($400 Promotion + $700 extra trade-in + $My trade-in + $0 Taxes refund). The phone will be unlocked after 60days, I don't have to do anything with it even oppen the box? What does Spectrum "gain" on this deal/promotion? Thank you for any info.

Will this work on existing free spectrum line that I just started to use this month or do I need to get an extra new line?

I went to trade in a S24 ultra, 512gb unlocked,
Trade-in value $291.00 + Spectrum promotion $700.00
Your total estimated trade in value is $991

it shows that the phone is Total Device Cost for the 512GB S26 ultra
$1099.99
so if I do the trade in can I just get the phone / service and cancel immediately. This might be a good idea !
