No. $400 off the top. S26 Ultra is $899 already (not $1299). Get a cheap prepaid phone (I have a Galaxy A03s), they'll give me $5 + $700 promo credit = $705. My total will end up being $194 + tax. Pay in full. There's no way I would give up my S25 Ultra in this case. It's worth more selling on the private market.
I did this a month ago and got an S26 the same way. I'll do the S26 Ultra tomorrow on the same line.
I do in-store, though. Sales tax is applied differently (since your trade-in is evaluated and applied right away) as opposed to doing it online and waiting for the promo credit to hit.

No. Pay the cost of the phone at checkout, send in your trade-in and you'll get the FULL value applied to your account. You can call/chat and have that credit applied as a refund to your credit card.
If you're paying in full, there is nothing involving "3 years" at all. It's paid.

Yes! And it's MUCH better. At least in TX and many other states, you make out a lot better because you only pay sales tax on the amount AFTER your trade-in is applied.
If you do it online, you pay the FULL sales tax of the device and the credit is applied later, no sales tax refunded.
I will literally save something like $95 doing it in-store rather than online.

Yes, it will work on the free line.
Anyone successfully tried in-store to trade in S26 bought recently from Spectrum (using trade-in paid in full with free line) to trade in to this new promo of S26U?

It has been tried multiple times in this thread. The S26 cannot be from Spectrum. It will disallow the trading-in of that IMEI.

Is there any Spectrum BUSINESS customer here? I went to the store last night with the Moto G 2025 and the rep got to the last papge to pay ($257) but it stuck on "this email is used on another account" and couldn't go further ( I don't have another account with Spectrum). Online rep today told me that business customer can't pickup the phone in store. The store is only for Residential.

Do you have to keep spectrum Internet for 36 months after you have paid off the phone and unlock it after two months?

I am planning to get this deal with spectrum Internet for two months and go back to Att fiber. Is that ok?

Can you comment on how #9 works? I am planning to activate my free line offer and will do my first trade in at that time. How do I go about trading in 2 more phones on that same line? I understand each phone needs to be active for 60 days so it'd be at least 6 months before all 3 phones are free and clear.

Or is it better to add 2 additional lines and eat the cost of 2 months of service on each to have all 3 phones unlocked at 2 months.

My plan is to cancel all but the free line once the phones are unlocked.

Thanks!
following... planning to get s26Ultra on my recent free line with S26. since the s26 already activated for few weeks now and using it, will the s26 still be unlock after 60 days

if you enjoy to ship the trade in device and hope it gets there safely and wait few weeks to get your money back then do it ONLINE.

In store, were you billed the full $900 + tax? I know it gets refunded/credited, but did they actually discount your overall payment then and there? Wondering how much will be put on the credit card.
I was only billed for the reminder that the trade in credit didn't cover. So my credit card was only charged $236. Now on the app that line shows as paid off and qualifies for upgrade.

I think you just have to put it back on your line right before you ask to have it unlocked.

Just did this deal in the store with the 30 dollar moto g 5g from walmart. The lady was hesistant first to trade it in coz the phone is still locked and there will be a "RISK" i wont get the -$700 and $5 trade in value of the phone but we still procceded and ended $312..

Now my question how big is the risk i wont get the $705 trade in value later on?

once you walked out the store then your trade in is completed.

Went to a store today. Store rep was firm that $400 discount was for New Internet customers only even though my print out online says otherwise. Going to another store later today.
