These are convenient during the first few minutes while you go searching for all your power outage supplies. Just keep one in your nightstand and it's always ready to go.

If you need more than one, the price is cheaper by the dozen. Example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D24LV9K7

Note: The specs say the glowsticks are 8.75 inches long, but if you look carefully that would be the length of the packaging. Most likely, the glowsticks are 6 inches long (the most commonly produced length of glowsticks). Unfortunately, there is no other way to compare glowsticks besides size. Manufacturers don't provide lumen nor lux data.

Military ones are better quality and they usually last longer than stated as well.

It's funny, I used to sell these at raves in the Midwest in the early 90s. It was really difficult to source back then without the internet as we know it today! I found a wholesaler in Chicago and placed an order over the phonr(!) and had to mail in a check lol. A few weeks later I was ready and whipped them out at a banger of a party. I recall selling them for $10/ea and one guy off his t*ts ran up and said how much and he just grabbed one and ran away and he had shoved a $20 in my hand haha. After those were done I pulled out the long skinny ones. I ended up with almost a few thousand bucks and my fat pant pockets were bursting. My buddies selling smart drinks pulled in over $5K and were sold out. Good times.
