I paid $350 for one of these when they first came out and don't regret it for a second!

It is an absolute game changer in the summer!

Ordered one earlier, a couple quick questions!
Any recommendations for an app, or recipe guide, particularly for alcoholic drinks? It sounds like you need to mix the Alcohol + Mixers and then add some amount of sugar and water?
Also, any recommendations for accessories to go along with it? I've seen different pour-extender attachments and other things, anything worth picking up?

I just bought one for 165 on woot. Still a good deal though so long as you use it.

$165 is slightly different model (bigger capacity) and refurb:

I absolutely love having slushy available at home. I have several of these machines that have lasted just a little over the warranty period and then died. I have mine running almost constantly. in my home we have two machines that are almost always running, one with grape and one with black cherry. But, I know that a machine is going to fail when it is getting close to the end of the included warranty.

There are several Facebook groups where people share recipes and tips. Basically you just need to make sure your recipe is staying within the guidelines for the right amount of sugar versus alcohol versus water.

I paid $300 when this came out, and it made an immediate impact at the office. It's one of those things you never knew you needed. This is a great deal. The only issue is to be careful with any drink that contains artificial coloring, as it can stain the tank. I was trying all kinds of V8 Splash flavors. It worked well, but the discoloration is the only downside. I know I can buy a replacement tank online if it gets too unsightly.

I paid 150 from mine last week from Woot. This shouldn't be a front page item given the recent price increase.

They're basically the same Ninja SLUSHi platform, but FS305CO is the larger Costco/member-exclusive version and FS301 is the standard 88-oz model
