Just took my son shoe shopping and had to point out to him that Nike shoes tend to be narrower than other shoe brands leading to potentially going up a whole size for relief. He wears a men's 10. A size 11 Nike felt tight while a size 10 Adidas felt comfortable. Just FYI.

I own these (different colorway) and they are a little narrow but feel great. Go up 1/2 size.

I know your son's pain, you really have to stick to the Nike models that have wide / extra wide sizing. The winflo, pegasus, vomero, structure, downshifter, flex experience, and run swift, which are all running shoes. They have two workout shoes including the flex train, and the hideous Air monarch. There are some walking shoes that I didn't mention.

There was a Kohl's deal a few months back in which I was able to get the winflo in wide, just under $40.

If you wants basketball or tennis shoes, tough titty.

Appreciate the info! We were shopping at the outlet so sizes may have been limited but I honestly didn't look very hard. Spending hundreds on kid's shoes isn't the wave for me when I know how they'll treat them being kids afterall.

I had them. They run narrow. I bought half a size bigger shoes to help with this because they were really good deal at that time (still narrow but doable).
