This gooseneck phone holder is best for bedside use and other hands free setups where a flexible arm matters. The mount is described as very stable in normal use, and it can even be adapted with a MagSafe charger or ball socket add on for magnetic charging. It also folds small enough to fit in a bag, though setup is awkward and the arm can feel big and bulky. For heavier duty needs or frequent bumps, sturdier mounts like RAM X or SeaSucker are the better fit.

i prefer magsafe than having to constantly pull apart the holder
I bought mine on Aliexpress, it has active cooling and is rated to 25w, but if you search for any masafe car charger, I always just look at the pictures until I can see the back, this is a screen shot of one that shows the ball-and-socket connection to look for
It would be so cool lying flat on my bed, binge watching TV on my iPad... until it hits you in the face.
