I loved the flex/expanding hoses until I realized they will last one or two summers and then the inner sleeve bursts, rendering the entire hose garbage. I kept them dry and shaded and still terrible life expectancy. Now I invest a little more and just get Flexzilla products. So far their durability has been far superior.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was considering getting this, but already have a flexzilla.

Gorilla Toughlite is by far the best water hose I've ever purchased. Light and lives up to the no-kink promise. I tried others with that feature but they still kinked

Paid roughly $60 at big box store for the last 100' expandable hose I purchased a few years ago. It has crap water pressure. I can use another 100' hose in backyard with crap water pressure for less than 1/2 price.

Maybe get a larger diameter than 3/8" if you want better pressure. Or just a standard hose.

make sure to store them away from extreme weather when not in use to ensure it lasts longer

Still rocking my original Sears Craftsman rubber hose 10+ years later. Leave them out in the sun and rain. The problem with these flexhose is the reduced water pressure because part of the water pressure energy is used to expand the hose.

I bought the sears craftsman rubber hoses off Slickdeals probably in the same timeframe and they have outlasted everything.

Edit: Just checked, it was 2014. 50 feet for $20. Outlasted everything.
