Reviews on this one are dodgy, the bottom heating element will be a mess to clean, and Tefal isn't known for its quality control. Pass.

It don't think the bottom heating element makes contact with food (it's under the pan) so I don't see how it can get dirty. The reviews seem normal and actually very good (83% 5 star). There are few negative reviews, and the positive reviews sound authentic to me. The only thing I don't like is the non-stick is PTFE and you're right, some reviewers claim the construction is suspect.

7.3 Qt and 1800w is impressive, on paper this thing is really good. People do say it's very fast too. Personally, I find dual heating like with the Typhur makes sense. This is the first infrared I've seen, I do wonder how long the infrared lamp will hold up. So yeah, It's intriguing but I'm no longer in the market as I I just bought a 6Qt Cosori "TurboBlaze" for now. Price-wise it's a little cheaper than Ninja and Typhur, but still over $100.

How is Cosori 6QT Airfryer? It's in my short list. Noise levels and speed of heating? TIA

The Cosori is very quiet, and the display is easy to understand and adjust. It cooks as well as any air fryer I've owned, not that it's the best out there, it's just better than what I've previously owned. It cooks as fast or faster than my old Ninja Foodi indoor grill. I just made some air fryer homemade french fries and they were good...almost too good!

The Cosori is really nice overall which is why I kept it and gave away a Ninja 6.5 Qt to my nephew. He loves it. I kept the Cosori over the Ninja because I felt it browned frozen fries more evenly. There's just little to complain about with the Cosori. One annoyance, to get to 450°F you have to scroll the temp up 5 degrees at a time starting at 385°F to get to 450°F, kinda a pain. I wish there was a "max crisp" button like on the Ninja. Other than that is has been great so far.

This model's glass cracks during cooking at high temperatures.
