Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
At store.google.com, you can get it slightly cheaper as follows:
trade in price is better (eg: iphone 13 is $255)
(you can purchase iphone 13 at Walmart for about $160+ or at other places online)
10% for use of referral code (use google search; I DON'T HAVE ANY)
You can also subscribe to google one and get 10% credit for later use

I got this phone from mint and can confirm the phone unlocks automatically after 60 days. and there is no "special software/firmware"
Have you rooted the phone personally? Unlocked is not the same as being able to flash custom firmware or update software to version you would like......

Nowhere in your previous post did you mention rooting your phone, so I didn't comment on that......

Correct. I did not want to write an essay regarding what one can or can't do with a phone.
So, to be explicit:
Every carrier/company does unlocking differently. Just because you can use it on another network, doesn't mean it has all of its antennas (true unlocked phones have all the antennas, carrier specific phones have antennas only for that company) or the ability to allow you to install your own software. You're still getting a special version of the phone. An example is Tracfone - their phones are dirt cheap but all of them have special customized software. While you can get the phone unlocked, and use it on a different carrier (not all, by the way!), you can't install your own software. It's literally locked down so that you can never do that. There's more to this but yeah. Essay lol
