Well, it's 3kWh. Check your last utility bill when you weren't using much heating or a/c. Divide 2.4 by your kWh usage for that month and then multiply that number by 30 days. Thats how long it will last.

Example: the average home in the US uses 900kWh in a month

2.4 / 900 = 0.00267 0.00267 x 30 days = 0.08 days or 2 hours

Now, you can't use this to power your home since (a) it only has a 120V output, and (b) you can't "plug" this into your electrical panel (safely). OTOH, if you had a backup fridge (1kW/day), your internet router (~12W) and small server (mine is ~38W), some plug in LED lights, and some minor appliances...sure, it will probably keep you going for 12 hours

that all depends on your runtime and power output. Is your house a small data center, or do you have 6 light bulbs and a fridge?
If you have a fridge, Wi-Fi, lights, and fans, you could probably get 15-30+ hours depending on usage***********.

You could connect to your home electric panel breaker or not, it is up to you. Because you built DIY POWER STATION. You do whatever you want with it. I show you my DIY POWER STATION. I could connect to my house electric panel or use as stand alone like this Gendome Power Station.MY DIY STAND ALONE POWER STATION: https://ibb.co/b5vkrjRDI could connect my DIY Power Station with MY POWER INPUT BOX that connect MY HOUSE ELECTRIC PANEL BREAKER: https://ibb.co/7twW8FNBYou could watch this video how he build portable power station with Hybrid Solar Inverter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m7jiNTrBjQ
Thank you very very much for this information I will definitely check it out!!! I didn't think diy was possible for these stand alone units as im new to solar and inverters but I will definitely check it out

You see in my DIY power station is using RENOGY INVERTER PUH 3000 WATT. This inverter has BLUETOOTH. So I could download their app and monitor thru my phone like this picture: https://ibb.co/BV8wBhGm

Most Hybrid Solar Inverters are capable monitor thru Bluetooth app also.

This price is crazy! Can two units be output 240v??
The YouTube reviews of this unit mentions no, it was one of the gripes/wishlist things from the reviewers. Also, another nugget of info I got from the reviews is that the usable capacity is around 86% for AC discharge, about industry standard. $700 for a 3kW class power station is very tempting, but I've also been spoiled by my Bluetti 200 v2 which tests to as high as 97% for usable battery capacity on AC usage.

Some BMS's are programmed to be very conservative with the discharge. Unless you can test each battery's discharge voltage one by one, it's impossible to know which manufacturer is flying or lying.

It's not that difficult to do a usable capacity test, it's pretty simple and straight forward. Stick a meter on the AC outlet, plug a load in to drain the power station till it shuts off the outlet, then divide what the meter says with what the claimed battery capacity is to get the AC efficiency. It's a real world usable test, something tangible that anyone with time and a kill-a-watt or similar energy meter can do. It's a common test that YouTube channels that review power stations perform. Some channels also do DC efficiency testings as well. Pretty much similar procedure but on the DC side of things. It's pretty simple to test to see where each which manufacturer measure against each other. I'm not sure what you're talking about with BMS and discharge voltage.

If it last and if that specs are accurate it seems like a good deal. Based on their own charging claims I doubt claimed capacity.

It is a good power station for the price, for the given specs. If it'll last is probably the big question. This brand hasn't been around for that long, this Home 3000 looks to be their first release. There's just not enough long term reviewers of this product for me to grab one.
You'll never get claimed capacity from any manufacturer, that would mean a 100% efficient inverter and that's not possible with our current level of technology. The industry standard for power stations is around 15% loss. This Gendome falls right about average according to reviewers who have put it through a capacity drain test.

If you know how to use a wrench and tight down some bolts. You could buy 2 x 150Ah 12V Eco Worthy batteries and hybrid solar inverter, which total $372. You got more battery capacity and almost 50% cheaper. Plus, you could add more batteries later easily.

Learning how to assemble from parts is a good learning exercise, but don't kid yourself that it'll save money. You didn't include the wiring (copper is expensive), fuses, terminals, crimp tool, case, etc. In the end it's not as safe or compact as a manufactured unit like the Gendome. Don't get me wrong, I put together my own and am a fan, but it's not for the average layman, and not something I'd be comfortable with family members using.

I build my own DIY power station and made my own cable. So I knew what you meant. But that only for a big and many batteries system. If you built a system 2 batteries like I mention above. You don't need to make your own cable.

Here are the items list I do for less:
  1. Buy 2 set battery cables: short cable for series connection and long cable for connect to inverter
    One set 1ft 4 AWG $10: https://www.amazon.com/ZONBANG-Ba...WBZ92&th=1
    One set 2ft 4 AWG $16: https://www.amazon.com/ZONBANG-Ba...WBZ92&th=1
  2. OPTIONAL: Buy a battery disconnect switch $12:
    https://www.amazon.com/Ampper-Bat...vE4RA&th=1
  3. OPTIONAL: Buy a 3 shelf cart $29:
    https://slickdeals.net/f/19428453-3-shelf-auto-drive-professional-detailing-cart-29-free-shipping-w-walmart-or-on-35?src=frontpage
  4. Buy one extension cord TRIPLE OUTLET 10 gauge 8 feet for connecting with OUTPUT and INPUT TERMINAL of inverter $9:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV4ZY...haWwy&th=1
  5. OPTIONAL: Solar Panel Disconnect Switch 50A PV $25:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GMC6P...RhaWw&th=1
The 3 OPTIONALS are your choice. If you could build one or don't need one, so don't have to buy. The 2 must have are the BATTERY CABLES AND OUTLET EXTENSION CORD.

****************************************************

HOW TO CONNECT BATTERY CABLES AND INVERTER:
Just tight down few battery bolts with screwdriver to connect batteries with inverter. INSTRUCTION HOW TO CONNECT TWO BATTERIES 12V IN SERIES WITH INVERTER: https://ibb.co/G47396cz

HOW I USE EXTENSION CORD CONNECT WITH INVERTER OUTPUT AND INPUT TERMINAL:

FOR INVERTER OUTPUT TERMINAL:
Cut the CORD END with TRIPLE OUTLET about 18 INCHES like this picture: https://ibb.co/B5JZpGzY
Strip the wires and connect to OUTPUT TERMINAL of inverter. BLACK WIRE is HOT OR LINE. WHITE is NEUTRAL. GREEN is GROUND like this picture: https://ibb.co/21RxppFs

FOR INVERTER INPUT TERMINAL: Charging Battery or use grid power/gas generator
You got left about 6.5 feet with wall plug end. Strip the wires and connect to INPUT TERMINAL of inverter like this picture: https://ibb.co/bg5C9YR8

Can you program these to kick in during peak time? I live in SoCal and electricity almost triples between 6-9pm on our plan.
If by kick in you mean schedule it so that it only charges from off peak hours then yes.

Where's the specs on the switching time?

If it can't handle a computer, then it's not nearly the same product.
There's many more little costs that go into a setup like that than what you've listed.

Reps to anyone who knows and answers. Can this be used to power appliances while being charged with solar or plug in? Can these survive the heat or cold of leaving it in an rv or car without burning it down? This can power a whole 30 amp rv right? How and what kind of extra batteries can be used with this? Can the regular car port charge this?
