Edit: Sorry, I was mistaken. This deal is for existing Fi customers. New Fi customers are offered $499 off over 24 months on the Pixel 10a.

Google Fi might have been good when it came out, but it's horrendously expensive now and they haven't bothered to update anything. I pay $20/month for 15gb of T-Mobile data through Mint. The closest that I can get to that with Fi is $35/month for 30gb which is almost double the cost per month (and I rarely come close to the 15gb cap). Over a 2 year period I'd be paying more in total than if I'd just stayed with my current plan. And that Google plan doesn't come with any of the fun benefits like international use, etc.

PSA that this is the only Pixel 9 with the older cellular radio. Worse reception. If you are rural, get a used Pixel 9 instead.

Or better, a Motorola Qualcomm phone that supports LineageOS.

Interesting, I don't see this deal available for me (as non-Fi customer)
The only option being shown is "Receive $20.80 off each bill for 24 months" for 10a

I don't believe I see this deal. I see $499 off over 24 months though

Good price but their phone plans are too expensive, making the deal a no go. Costs hundreds more over the 2 years.

Good deal. I bought the 10a phone for the same price months ago and I'm happy with it. My previous phone was the Pixel 9 Pro Fold but I never used the folding function so I bought the 10a and gave the Fold to my Mom. The 9a is a similar phone so if you need a cheap phone then this deal is pretty good.
