Has anyone had issues with rain water getting in the bulbs and shorting out?

This is the standard spacing for Cafe / Patio lights. I have two different sets (incandescent & LED) and both have 3ft between bulbs.

Take the 100' and fold it back on itself and that makes 50' with lights every 18" ... thats what i did ...

And it is 0.914 meter, for the non-U.S. SD'ers.

Costco (feit) are 2' spacing.

There's the exception.

FWIW:

The Feit are $26.99 for 48 ft.

These are $17 for 100 ft.

These are like a cheap child's toy compared to the costco versions.

It's 30 bulbs for 100 feet. 15 bulbs for 50ft. Costco provides 24 bulbs for 48ft. Recent price in north Texas Costco for 48ft is about $22.
