Definitely not plastic. I have 2 of these in orange from a prior deal and they are solid lights. Nothing exceptional but solid. I may grab a couple more if the coupon applies to other colors than gray.

Can't tell yet. I've only had them about 2 weeks so haven't used them more than 20-30 minutes messing around while sitting at my work desk. Plus I've probably picked up another dozen or so flashlights (Sofirn/Workkos/Olight/Nitecore - I may have a problem Smilie ) so none have been driven hard yet.
