Once again, if you need 11 internal powered channels and after Dirac, this unit is hard to beat imo.

I picked this up during the recent sale (similar to this one about three weeks ago). I was honestly a bit skeptical at first about the condition, but after receiving it, I was glad to see it was brand new and in perfect shape. I also paid extra for shipping/handling protection for peace of mind, and in my opinion, it was worth it.

I've set it up in a 3.1.2 configuration so far (all svs speakers), and even at this stage, the experience has been absolutely mind-blowing. I'm coming from a Sonos 5.1 system, and the difference is truly night and day.

Action scenes and even music tracks hit on a completely different level — I've been getting goosebumps frequently, something I honestly haven't experienced in years.

Looking forward to expanding the setup further, but even now, this has been one of the best upgrades I've made.

I just ordered it. Today I boxed up and sent in my Denon AVR-X6700H for repair. There is no telling how long the repair process will take, so I went ahead and got this one. With the Denon (plus a 2-channel external amp and 2 subwoofer y-adpaters), I've been running a 9.4.4 channel system. With the Onkyo, I'll be losing the Wide speakers, but they get almost no use anyway except in multichannel stereo mode. The Klipsch towers I'm using as my Wides are just taking up space.
