I'd rather have fewer ports and USB4.

USB4 is literally a PCIe expansion slot on a cable. With it, you can use stuff people haven't even designed yet.

USB3 is a serial port. USB4 is a PCIe port.

I agree with the other posters. USB4 is more critical to me than having this many ports. It basically future proofs you for a few years.
