The ASUS ROG G700 refurb is a quiet prebuilt with strong upgrade potential, especially if the plan is to swap in a better GPU later. The case can fit extra NVMe storage, and the machine has been described as easy to expand beyond the stock drive. The main drawbacks are the RTX 5060's 8GB of VRAM, the non modular PSU with sleep whine, and cramped access to the spare SSD slot under the GPU. Airflow also looks weak because of the glass front and narrow intake slits, making it a decent platform only if the upgrade path matters.

This seems like a lot of money for a mediocre "gaming" computer. That GPU is pathetic.
I had this computer. While it isn't bad the biggest problem is the case itself. The front panel is glass and has two tiny slits on the side for air intake. The airflow on it is pretty horrible

Prycedin 🤮
Yes they do suck. I ordered a PC from them on eBay. They never delivered it. They claimed they tested it before shopping, and it didn't post. They then asked me if I wanted to cancel. I asked if I had any other option. They said no. I therefore said that was ok. They then canceled claiming it was my idea.

Arseholes should have tested before posting it. Plus they got me to agree to the cancel to avoid an ebay ding from them canceling it themselves.

Is there enough space for an ssd with heatsink?
I haven't added one myself yet, but I've asked and someone else said they was enough room for one

I have the GM700 with the AMD RX9070XT that covers the second slot. I was told it would not but mine took a Samsung 990 Pro w/heatsink no problem. It actually probably had 1 or 2 mm space still.. I also installed a third NVMe 9100 in an NVMe "adapter" which sits in the PCIe rail. I'm lovin my machine. I removed the original 2TB NVMe and replaced it with a 9100 and set it up for AI LLMs. It does great. Mine had max limit of 64GB RAM. I maxed it out and the same week they came out with a BIOS mod upping the limit to 128GB, and I heard someone else say that it could even go to 512, but I haven't actually seen that. If I upgrade to 128GB I hope I can do it with two 64GB sticks just in case 512 is a possibility.
