True. The 270k Plus is faster in multi-threading, faster in single thread, tied in gaming, far lower idle power consumption, more efficient in gaming and normal workloads but less efficient when at 100% usage of every core (which is an uncommon thing to do).The $200 savings from the 270k Plus buys you a Z890 (flagship chipset) motherboard. So complaining about Intel's socket changes doesnt have much merit here when you can get a flagship motherboard for 'free', and AM5 is on its last legs too.AMD needs to lower its prices as they simply arent competitive.
This person has absolutely no idea what they are talking about

Right, which is perhaps why AMD is charging twice as much for their cpus than Intels that have the same performance. Their reputation took a hit and people don't mind paying AMD much more money for less performance if that means they don't have to worry about reliability.. also doesn't help Intel that Arrow Lake was not much of an improvement over Raptor Lake in terms of performance and often even slower in games. The Plus line is improved but late to the game..
AMD makes great products. Always have (with a couple a slips here and there). Ryzen and Epyc are insane architectures.
