Their reputation took a hit and people don't mind paying AMD much more money for less performance if that means they don't have to worry about reliability.. also doesn't help Intel that Arrow Lake was not much of an improvement over Raptor Lake in terms of performance and often even slower in games. The Plus line is improved but late to the game..

AMD makes great products. Always have (with a couple a slips here and there). Ryzen and Epyc are insane architectures.
