Apparently it's ready but Apple keeps delaying it to be released with a new enhanced version of Apple Intelligence. I think we're in the home stretch, need to get 2 myself. I think it's worth waiting for.

Apple Intelligence/revamped Siri was announced in 2024 and it was the highlighted feature to sell the iPhone 16 Pro. It never came and still doesn't have a firm release date. I'm not holding my breath for September.

As details of the new device are not know, one can expect a faster processor, more internal memory, possibly blue tooth connection, and what else? If you are just using the device for content consumption and not gaming, will waiting for the updated version really matter?

Agreed. Around Black Friday, they had the 128 gb ethernet version for $99.99 (I grabbed 2 of those back then).

This is not a good price for the aging 64gb WiFi.

Could always get this one now and return when new one comes out no? Costco said their Apple TVs are no restrictions on returns
