Same here but I'm a little skeptical of the quality for this price. 🤔

Would love to see you do that without a bottom.

I bought a 4 by 8 foot one last year that came with two solar lights for $30. They are fine.

do you have to put garden soil in it or you can throw the soil from the backyard? I just need something to raise the bed to keep the weeds down and small designated area where you can control the weeds insteadm of the large garden area.

We had a couple of these in our backyard, but had to remove them.

Our grass kept getting trampled by free range cows looking for feedstock.

You just have to make sure that the soil you're using doesn't already have any seeds in it for example but yeah you can definitely do that for sure. Very cheap alternative.

Ok thats good to know, I was thinking there may be a drainage issue. When you have a small area such as this, it will be easy to pull all weeds/seeds and keep it grass free. I can put some homemade compost every year and make it a rich soil. Will be using to grow some coriander/Spinnach and herbs. Hopefully it will work.

Had to check the dimensions for the April '26 Aldi galvanized bed and it's smaller at 14.37" x 12.60" x 4.53", but does inclued a rubber rim to add on the edge. So going with the Amazon order.

If you have a Starbucks nearby, you can grab their used coffee grounds to also use as an addition to your compost or even directly to your soil.

Is the coffee ground used to raise the PH? like make it acidic?
