Really nice deal. You can totally make your own trekpak style dividers if you need to. There are various reddit and YouTube posts that worked for me.

If you plan to check these as luggage at an airport, I'd suggest looking into Nanuk cases. I've had many of my Pelican cases arrive on the luggage carousel with a latch popped open and the only thing holding it mostly shut is the lock, but thats never happened to my Nanuk case when I started traveling with that due to their claw type of latch.

I don't understand the specificity here.What is unique about summer these are great for?They don't claim to be water proof. This case will perform the same for any season for travel.
