It's an odd combo since the pump uses 12V power. I guess if you need the battery, you get a pump as a bonus.

Just bought this on the 16th and it comes with AC87004A 18V 4.0Ah LITHIUM ION BATT STARTER KIT. That is the 4AH battery and the small charger.

Funny enough I just searched for AC87004A and the home depot website doesn't even show that it comes with a charger. But this inflator combo has the charger with the 4 AH battery. I registered all 3 on the LSA (Inflator, Battery, and charger)

The inflator can run off the included Ridgid battery or a cigarette lighter outlet on a vehicle, the cable is stored inside the inflator. So it must convert the Ridgid 18V to 12 V for running.

Going to have to add a 12 outlet if you have a newer vehicle. Can't believe the GMC Sierra I bought doesn't have one.

I thought my gmc Acadia didn't have one too. It's hidden underneath the weird part of the center console on the underside of the wireless charger pad. Only found it during deep clean lol.
