Guess I'm lucky. The seven regular locations closest to me here in SoCal all carry them though they're now "Low in Stock" across the board.
However, I ended up checking FB marketplace and found a business selling used but cleaned food grade buckets WITH lids at $3 a pop so I'm probably going to haggle a bit and go that route.
