Hello, it appears this thread is gathering a lot of interest in trading codes, so here are a few tips so your post doesn't get removed:

Below are a few highlights for those who don't trade often:
-Cash/Venmo sales are not allowed
-Trades should be specific
Ex:
HAVE: 1 code
WANT: $5 AGC
If you HAVE an xfinity code and you want a GC in exchange for it, the amount of the GC you request in exchange must be $5 or less.
If you WANT to offer a GC for an xfinity code, you can offer more than $5 GC.
Please note, if a trade goes awry, mods will not get involved. Trade at your own risk.
-You may only post your trade request for the same trade once every 24 hours.

To me it seems that way. Search "Reddit 1stqxe7" - that thread said they have to added into the ETDS system before May 10th(not necessarily redeemed for tickets, just added into the system).
Must redeem offer by 5/10/26 and enter unique one-time use promo code at checkout by 10/25/26 to receive discount. Must use tickets by 10/25/26.

What you say can definitely be true, but keep in mind there is also some intrinsic risk with selling promotional "codes" on E-bay that are delivered electronically, which most of those listings are. I know it's done as I also took a look at the E-bay market and saw all of those listings, but it only takes one bad sale for them to claim they never got the code and you have to go down the wormhole of contesting whether or not you fulfilled your sale obligation.At that point you are out your code and you got a headache to deal with. I think it's a little different than when you are selling tangible items that have tracking histories. For sellers with good track records it may not be worth the risk.
If you're trading with someone here for a $10 GC when you could net $110 (after fees) on Ebay, you'd literally have to think the chances of fraud on Ebay are 11x higher to make the $10 GC worth it. Less extreme if you trade for a $50 GC here, but you'd still have to think Ebay fraud risk is ~2x higher.
Not sure how often people do get ripped off trading via PM, and I hope it's low.
Anyway, as a datapoint, I sold two codes on Ebay and will net $240 after fees. One buyer had hundreds of feedback, the other had zero. Though there was no way to force them to do this, I did get both buyers to confirm via Ebay message that they did redeem the codes successfully. I'd be very shocked if they were planning to defraud me via dispute at this point. You're still correct that there was a ripoff risk when I posted them for sale, but even if one buyer had defrauded, I'd still have gotten more from selling one code successfully than I likely would have with two trades (I haven't seen higher than $50 GC offered).

Congrats on the sale. I was very tempted to go that route but ultimately decided not to because there was just too many variables and didn't want to stand a chance to mess up my 20+ year E-bay reputation on a sale that had a lot of potential hiccups. One was the lack of clarity on the 5/10 "redeeming" date. When I was considering posting it was only 2 days away and if I was going to post this deal I was going to physically send the tickets (and e-mail them as well since there was almost no chance of the tickets getting to the receiver in time to use it) so that there was tracking attached to it just as a security measure for myself, but that time crunch had me a lttle leery from the get-go.
Just curious, did you just eat the shipping fee? After doing some research I found out the only way to not be assessed a shipping fee is if the digital product, in this case a code, is sold in the "Everything else>Information products" category of listings. All the listings I saw were incorrectly listed in "Tickets and Travel> Tickets and Experiences>Theme Park and Club Passes" which would all have shipping fee's attached. Did you find a way around that?
But with regards to the risk of selling on here as a seller you don't really have any risk if you only accept payment first. But again, congrats, sounds like you made out well on this deal.

And you could still Ebay message the code in parallel. If the buyers had not responded to my Ebay messages, I probably would have gone and done it just to cover myself.
