My coworker got one of these to help with wrist pain. He planned on getting a more expensive Logitech if he liked it but didn't want to waste the money until he knew how it felt. That was over a year ago and he's still using this one. He said it works well so why bother spending more on another one

I bought this one before and thought I could use a cheap vertical mouse for travel and keep the lift at home. The scroll of the wheel is not smooth, as well as the glide of the mouse, even on a pad. i eventually returned it. the lift is still better

Logitech Lift is better, but it's 4 times the cost. Probably worth it if you work at a desktop daily, but this makes a good backup for travel, or for home use if you work mostly at an office (or for office use if you work mostly at home).

The only potential issue with the Lift is that it's kinda small. I have average-to-large man hands, and the Lift isn't big enough to fit my whole hand. My pinky is always hanging off, dragging on the desktop. I have a full desk mat, so I don't mind it. But others might.

My only complaint is there is that tiny delay when using the mouse after a long pause (as with most non gaming, wireless mice). I wouldn't game with this mouse. Otherwise, it works great and the price can't be beat!!

Most of these mouse have sleep mode. Just click a button and it awakes. Works well, just need to get use to compared to most other most.

I have used several generics, the logi vertical and lift
My 2 cents is the vertical is only for men with monster hands (do you wear XL men's gloves?)
The generics I've tried don't feel good in my hand (medium size man, yes I wear "medium" gloves), either they are slippery or they're also too big like the vertical so they will slide out of my hand while I'm "mousing".
I've settled on the logi lift, just be aware you'll likely need to buy a new one every 2 to 3 years as the buttons do go bad.

I wear small-to-medium sized gloves and have been happy with vertical mice. I have an Anker one that has lasted 5 years before seeing any issues with the buttons.

I've been using the lift for about 3 years now and the problem that I have after 3 years is that the outside rubberish material eventually rubs off near my index & middle finger area bit by bit and leaves my desk with minor crumbs, the same with the rubber at the bottom and I don't use a mouse pad so it just has those rubber residues everywhere now; it wasn't doing that the first two years.

It would be better if the device-switch button were on the side instead of the bottom.
