The Costco 12 zone is $199 now. Unless your local government has a rebate program (e.g. Sacramento), that price likely won't be returning.
That said, Rachio is well worth the investment. I've had a gen 1 and now a gen 3. Once you dial in the watering parameters, they have always performed great.

Different product but I have owned my Orbit B-Hyve since 2020 and it works excellent every time. I unplug it in the fall and plug it back in the spring and it connects immediately every time. Never misses a beat.

Make sure to look up your water company's rebates, I got this same controller for $15 after my water rebate.

Blue state? Not trying to be political. I've just noticed my red state basically gives nothing in utility rebates and have read about awesome deals elsewhere.

Blue state here. Got 2 of them for free for my place. City managed water. They allowed up to $200 per controller.
