Agreed, I do wonder if DeWalt fixed their battery indicator light issue...

Good for DIY Home owners, impact and drill isn't the most powerful and battery is low capacity.

How is this deal for someone that'd like to have these for when needed on small home use projects? Don't need now or any time in the immediate future. Would it be better to wait for something better?

That driver is an excellent tool for home use, with a bigger battery I would imagine it would be fine for a pro as well. DeWalt makes some pretty solid stuff if you ask me.

How about thishttps://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-2..._-null-_-0
These are not Atomic line. Bulkier and slightly better performance.

Powerstacks are overrated, especially with 1.7ah.

According to their website: Yes, we offer a price adjustment if the price of an item you purchased drops within 30 days of the purchase date. You can request a refund for the difference by providing proof of the original purchase and evidence of the lower price. This can be done in-store or through customer service for online purchases.

You definitely want to try today while the price is still valid. I had luck with Best Buy on a similar flash sale.

I'd jump on this if I needed it. Those 1.7s are my absolute favorite, as I want performance without sacrificing weight/portability.
