Depends on the color.

None of the health claims have been scientifically proven. It does technically have higher levels of trace minerals than regular salt which has none... But the trace amounts are too little to make any meaningful difference one way or another.

The same goes for naturally occurring blue "Persian salt" which contains potassium and magnesium. But not at significant levels that would affect health. Neither have been scientifically proven to have therapeutic health benefits.

Does it make food taste better than using regular salt?

Why does your post state it has trace minerals when the nutrition label says otherwise. That's literally misinformation.

Guys, don't overpay for salt, the trace amount of minerals proportional to the quantity you'll be ingesting is completely negligible, you would need to consume a dangerous amount of it just to get any benefits, simply use regular salt for cooking and flaky salt for finishing like Maldon.
